           Welcome to Shady Brook Campground & Boat Rental, LLC, and Located at the Foothills of Shade Mountain, Beaver Township, Snyder County, and Approx 2 miles from Beavertown, Pa. 17813

            We would like to welcome you to the areas recently remodeled and under new ownership campground. Formally known as Grose’s Campground. Please bear with us during our remodeling, as we have several projects on the board.

             Come and enjoy the beauty, tranquility and quiet, in the mature forest at the foothills of Shade Mountain. We offer large and spacious campsites, with lots of “Elbow Room”

             We offer over 90 camping sites that include daily, weekend, transient and seasonal availability. Sites include, RV, back-in, pull-thru, tents, RV rentals, and coming soon cabins. All RV and tent sites offer full electric service with 20/30/50 amp service. We do offer a few more primitive tent sites with no electric and limited water access.

            We have 2 cabins that are 12 Ft. x 17 Ft. inside with a 5 Ft Front porch for a total cabin area of 12 Ft x 22 Ft. Each cabin can sleep up to 6 persons 1 Full bed, 1 Set of Bunk Beds, and folding cots are available. Each cabin is furnished with a microwave, small refrigerator, table & chairs, and outside will have a fire ring and picnic table. And for comfort each unit will have air conditioning and heat.

            We offer many on-site activities, we have a large completely remodeled in ground pool 28 x 48 Ft. and have a large playground for the children. There are also several other activities to enjoy, most within 15 miles of the campground, that include fishing & boating at both Faylor and Walker Lake, horseback riding, trail hiking, animal zoos, museums, golfing, and many, many more.
